In the woods of Wisconsin lakes abound. In the summer the fishing is fine and the wildlife are always plentiful. In early spring one will also find a spider web of tubing running across the forest floor. Why one may ask..... It is Maple Syrup time. Wisconsin is one of 17 states in the nation that produces the crop known as maple syrup. If you are in the area make sure to check out our states producers and to take home a little something besides cheese.
